A job above and beyond my wildest dreams

I grew up skiing in the mountains, and always dreamed of maybe working as a ski patroller at the mountain one day, but never imagined I would.  After I graduated high school and travelled Canada for nine months, I found myself working on a ranch in majestic Lake Louise, then another couple ranches until winter where I was stumped on what to do next.  My older sister was working as a lift supervisor where she had worked for a few years, and informed about a lifty position open.  After an amazing first winter working in the mountains, skiing daily, spring was coming and the need for liftys was decreasing.  Due to my experience driving farm machinery growing up, the Cat Crew supervisor took an interest in hiring me for the end of the ski season.  I have been going back every spring to drive snow cats and groom the ski hill at night, enjoying amazing mountain sunrises, many bright, twinkling stars, and beauftiful nights observing the moon.  This job is an absolute dream come true without even knowing about it when I was younger.  It works well with my life and love of skiing, and living in the mountains.
